About Film Festival

Our Mission

The Detroit Jewish Film Festival celebrates the art of Jewish filmmaking by presenting films, encouraging discussion about Jewish stories, and creating shared experiences with filmmakers and audiences around the world.

What to Expect

We are designing the 2021 virtual festival to be a mix of things we all do together and things we do on our own schedule. Anyone can participate in all aspects of the festival, without invitation.

Films will be available to watch on-demand at your convenience. No more worrying about missing a film because it’s being shown when you’re busy!

Festival Pass holders will have access to our  Premium Streaming service where they can scroll through movies and watch as they please. Get your Festival Pass here.

Those without Festival Passes can purchase tickets to each film individually beginning May 2. Virtual tickets are single-use codes for watching a film that expire 24 hours after purchase.

We’ll all gather in real time for live virtual film discussions and for a Free Drive In Double Feature! Anyone can watch and participate in the discussions either on the YouTube channel and details about the Drive In are coming soon.
