From the moment Stay at Home orders began, the Cultural Arts department has been bringing world-class, free virtual events to the community. As we begin planning our major festivals, we need your help more than ever. These are difficult times for everyone, so we also appreciate your support more than ever. To show our appreciation, we have a special offer to all new and returning supporters of both Film Festival and Book Fair.

It will look a lot like a normal Book Fair. There will be over 30 events with the most exciting and interesting Jewish books and authors from around the world. We have books for sale at our online store. We will be finding ways to gather. The only difference is that we’ll all be in our own homes, possibly in our pajamas.
We need your support more than ever in order to continue fulfilling our mission of bringing the best of the world of Jewish books and authors to metro Detroit. Even though our programming will be virtual, our costs remain real. We hope that you will join us in working towards our mission, which has taken on new urgency. Our normal ways of interacting with each other and the world of Jewish culture have been disrupted. Help us nurture the new ways of connecting and building the fabric of our community.
